Every puppy from Forever Friends Labradoodles is placed with a written Lifetime Health Guarantee and a structured policy designed to protect both the dog and the family. Ethical breeding includes standing behind our puppies not only at purchase, but throughout their lifetime.
All puppies are sold in good health and are free from visible signs of infection or contagious disease at the time of transfer.
We recommend that each puppy be examined by a licensed veterinarian of the buyer’s choice within five (5) days of go-home to confirm health status.
If, for any reason other than accident, the buyer chooses to return the puppy within seven (7) days of purchase, a 100% refund of the purchase price will be issued upon safe return of the puppy.
Forever Friends Labradoodles provides a lifetime guarantee against life-threatening or seriously disabling congenital or hereditary defects.
If such a condition is diagnosed, the buyer may elect:
• A full refund of the purchase price
OR
• Reimbursement of veterinary treatment costs up to the original purchase price
A second veterinary opinion, at the breeder’s expense, may be required prior to refund approval. This safeguard ensures diagnostic accuracy.
The guarantee is void if the dog is euthanized or otherwise disposed of without allowing for a second opinion when requested.
Covered congenital or hereditary conditions include, but are not limited to:
• Severe Hip Dysplasia
(Provided the dog was not sterilized before 12 months of age and is not obese)
• Grade 4 Patella Luxation
• Grade 3 Elbow Dysplasia
• Grade IV or V Heart Murmurs persisting beyond 20 weeks of age
• Genetic diseases commonly tested in Australian Labradoodles, including:
Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA)
Von Willebrand’s Disease (vWd)
Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC)
This guarantee does not cover:
•minimal underbite or base narrow canines that the veternary states will self-correct
Conditions with undetermined diagnoses
• Illnesses or injuries likely caused by environmental factors
(including diet, trauma, chemical exposure, or preventable care issues)
In the unfortunate event of death, a necropsy performed by a licensed veterinarian is required for refund consideration when the cause is unclear.
To support long-term health, we recommend:
• Feeding a high-quality diet with minimal additives
• Delaying spay/neuter until 12 months of age or later
• Limiting veterinary pharmaceuticals (flea, heartworm, vaccinations, wormers) to medically necessary use
These recommendations are designed to support optimal orthopedic and immune development.
If at any point in the dog’s life the owner is unable to keep them, Forever Friends Labradoodles will accept the dog back. Our commitment to every puppy extends for life.
Puppies must never be surrendered to a shelter.
