The Australian Labradoodle is a purpose-bred, multigenerational dog developed for temperament, intelligence, and a low-shedding coat. Unlike first-generation Labradoodle crosses, Australian Labradoodles are bred from established bloodlines with careful attention to health, structure, and personality. At Forever Friends Labradoodles, our dogs are raised in a loving home environment and bred to be exceptional family companions.
No dog is completely hypoallergenic, but Australian Labradoodles are considered low-shedding and allergy-friendly. Their fleece or wool coats help reduce dander in the home. Many families with mild to moderate allergies do very well with this breed. We always recommend allergy-sensitive families spend time with the breed prior to placement.
Australian Labradoodles are bred to be low to non-shedding. Regular grooming and brushing are important to maintain coat quality and minimize loose hair. Excessive shedding is uncommon when puppies are bred responsibly.
Australian Labradoodles come in three size categories:
Miniature: approximately 15–25 lbs
Medium: approximately 30–45 lbs
Standard: approximately 50–65 lbs
Adult size depends on genetics and pairing. At Forever Friends Labradoodles, we carefully plan each pairing to produce predictable sizes.

This breed is especially well-suited for families, children, seniors, and those seeking a loyal companion.
